I am privileged to be the Technology Integrator for Brookfield Elementary School! My role is to support the teaching staff in the integration of various technology tools in order to enhance and differentiate instruction for the benefit of student learning. My journey began August 1996 as a pilot program where I served all six elementary schools. In August 1998 the district decided to continue the role of Technology Integrator as a regular position. Each elementary school now has a 50% Technology Integrator as part of their team.

With the commencement of the 2nd semester in January 2008, I have begun exploring the world of blogging as a communication tool with parents, students, staff, and other community members. It's very new and I'm not sure what it will become, but it is my hope to continue the development of my own blog along with encouraging other staff to join me, perhaps students in the future. Ideas for topics are always welcome. Just click the link at the top of the page to send me your ideas for my blog. Learn more about my role at Brookfield Elementary by viewing my blog — click here.

I also invite you to consider — technology is a tool you can choose to use to enhance or simplify your life and learning — YOU are the one in control of the when and where!
