We are pleased to inform you of a unique and exciting addition to the art program in our school.

The art department has teamed up with ArtSonia to showcase our students' artwork on the Internet. ArtSonia is the world's largest online art museum with thousands of artwork by students in over 100 countries.

We believe that this project will help boost the students' pride, self-esteem, technology awareness and multi-cultural understanding. Further, the project also enables parents, relatives and friends to see the students' work from home. We encourage you to join your child's fan club and leave your child a positive, reinforcing comment on their artwork.

Besides showcasing our students' artwork on the Internet for the world to see, ArtSonia also offers parents high quality gift items imprinted with your child's own artwork. The school arts program will receive 15% of all the order revenue. Therefore, not only are these products excellent gifts for friends and family, but your order directly supports the arts program here at Burleigh.

ArtSonia.com's " No Child Left Behind" mission is to have schools include every student in their gallery. In order to accomplish this task we are looking for digital camera smart parents to capture the images and then up load to the ArtSonia site. The uploading process is simple. To volunteer for this exciting adventure you can sign up in the office or call Mrs. Sonnenberg. We are also looking for someone to help schedule the volunteers.
