     I am working 100% of my time at Burleigh this year.  I spend 80% of my time with grades three, four and five and the other 20% of my time is spent in a morning Early Childhood classroom.

     One website that I would recommend to parents is www.scholastic.com for parent resources that pertain to, not just reading, but all aspects of childrens' learning.  I am a huge fan of reading however, as it is a wonderful way to increase vocabulary skills, story retell skills or narratives, as well as the ability to have discussions about different types of books.

     Another website that has access to some informational handouts is the www.superduperinc.com website.  Go to the website and click on "Free Handouts" on the left hand side of the opening page.  You can then select a drop-down menu where you may choose a topic that might be of interest to you.  Again, though these are primarily related to speech and language, there are also other areas to explore as well.
