Welcome to Mrs. Bonness' third grade classroom!
Your child's daily assignments should be entered in their assignment notebook. Please check it daily to see what assistance you may want to give your child. You will also be given a minimum of a 3 day notice of upcoming tests through the assignment notebook. Sign the assignment notebook daily to communicate to me that you are guiding your child in the use of this wonderful organizational tool.

| Spelling |
A week - usually a 2 week in-classword study prior to test. The test includes 6 high frequency words that students know ahead of time and 6 unknown words that follow the word study patterns - an information sheet is sent home at the beginning of A week; B-week is an individual list of 6 words that are stapled into their assignment notebooks. Do not remove spelling lists that are stapled in the assignment notebooks. |
