News from the Health Room

On September 16, there was an informational meeting held to let the families know what Swanson is doing to stop the spread of lice within our school. This is currently a community wide issue in which we are taking steps to  halt the spreading of lice.

Parent Workshops
This year we will have four parent workshops offered on different topics. They will be presented twice during the school day, at 9:00 A.M. and 2:30 P.M. These workshops willl also videotaped for checkout so those who can't make it can still see the information. The following dates and topics have been set for the 2008-09 workshops:

NOVEMBER ORDERS
This month is dessert fundraiser month with Market Day. Check your children's folder on October 13 for more infomation!

Orders are due to school on Wednesday, October 29.
Pickup is Monday, November 3 from 3:30-5:30 PM
