Our elementary physical education program contains a variety of activities. The kindergarten through second grade physical education emphasis is on developing eye-hand coordination, footwork and balance, throwing, kicking, catching, body control, space awareness, changing direction, dance, rope jumping, low organized games, and strength building activities, such as climbing the traverse wall, bowling, mini-tennis, and various exercises.
The third through fifth grade activity units consist of the following: fitness testing, flag football, ultimate frisbee, kickball, whiffleball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, dance, pillo polo, jump rope, bowling, mini-tennis, low organized games, climbing the traverse wall, and various exercises.
