  • ATTN: Parents of Juniors - Post Prom Sign Up Available

    Posted February 17, 2017

Greetings Junior Parents! Junior Prom is right around the corner! Please mark your calendars for the weekend of March 25th. Your BCHS PTO and Post Prom Committee members have been working hard to ensure a fun, safe evening for all students in attendance.

After the prom festivities downtown, students return to BCHS for an evening full of entertainment, food and beverages, and the chance to win dozens of amazing raffle prizes. This event is completely funded by donations and fundraising, as students are not charged to attend.

In order for this evening to be a success, we need your help! We need volunteers for setup on Friday, March 24th, volunteers throughout the day/evening on Saturday, March 25th, and volunteers to help clean up on Sunday, March 26th.

Kids come to Post Prom hungry, so please don't hesitate to see where you can help with food and beverage donations. They also have the opportunity to win from a selection of dozens of raffle prizes. If you feel inclined to donate a gift card, service, or cash, we would be so grateful.

Please peruse the pages included in this signup genius (there are several pages to look at!) in order to see if there are any areas in which you would like to help. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Lisa Thomsen at We thank you in advance for your participation!

    Posted December 2, 2016

Congratulations to BC Student Council and to the entire BC Community for receiving the Angel Award! Over the past three years the BC Community has raised over $11,400. Last year alone we raised $4,333!

We will participating again in the Waukesha County Christmas Clearing Council. From December 7-16, two Council representatives will bring a bin to each class during fourth block to collect money, which will then be used to purchase presents for children in need. To provide an extra incentive for students to donate money, there will be a cookie party for the class that donates the most. We are buying presents for 16 kids, and our budget is $60 per child, so we hope to raise at least $960. We would appreciate you encouragement of donations.

    Posted August 18, 2016

The Board of Education recently approved a new policy (5127.3) that permits junior or senior students to complete an additional half-credit in a core academic course (English, mathematics, science, or social studies) in lieu of a half-credit of physical education. Students are eligible if they are involved in an approved WIAA-sanctioned sport, a school-sponsored sport, or an alternate activity as approved by their principal. Students and families interested in exploring this option are encouraged to review the policy linked above and contact their guidance counselor for additional information.
