Gifted & Talented Advisory Board

Mission

The Gifted & Talented Parent Advisory Board (G/T PAB) serves as a communication link between parents of G/T children and the Elmbrook School District. The G/T PAB:

  • Provides perspective and feedback to the District
  • Partners with organizations to provide support to parents and educators
  • Members serve on District Committees

Parent Advisory Board meetings are open to the public. The schedule of meetings for this school year is below.

The G/T PAB membership is composed of representatives from each of the Elmbrook School District elementary, middle and high schools. In addition to attending PAB meetings, school representatives partner with the G/T Coordinator at their school as needed.

Recent Initiatives

The G/T PAB provided feedback as Policy and Practice Statement 6142.1 was developed and implemented to aid in the identification of Gifted and Talented Students. Once identified, the gifted and talented student will have access to differentiated instructional strategies and will be guided toward appropriate academic opportunities.
