Welcome to the BCHS Class of 2021!

January 12, 2017

Dear Students of the BCHS Class of 2021,

Congratulations on being part of the 2017-2018 Freshmen class of Brookfield Central High School! We are excited to you, the class of 2021, and help you to become successful Lancers! BCHS will be your home for the next four years; those years will be a time of amazing growth for each one of you. I am proud of the many course offerings and countless athletic and activity opportunities that we are able to offer. It is my hope that you find BC to be as special as a place as I do.

On January 25th, we will be hosting our annual 8th Grade Transition Night. The times for the night:

-Students with last names A-K 5:00pm-6:00pm

-Students with last names L-Z 6:30pm-7:30pm

Please note if you are unable to attend one session, you are welcome to come to the other.

On this night, we will begin in the BC Cafeteria and the BC Staff will provide you and your parents an overview of Brookfield Central. In the overview, we will present the many academic options that you will have at BC. We have created the Academic Planning Site to help you navigate the process. The #1 priority is for each student to make their course requests for the next school year. I encourage you to spend time exploring the site. It is filled with information that will assist you in making informed decisions about your academic and career futures.

After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to attend an Activities and Athletics Fair. We have 22 athletic team offerings and the over 70 different clubs and activities. Current BC students will be on hand to answer your questions and to provide you with information about the many opportunities.

I look forward to working with you over the next four years. BC will be challenging, but it will also be an exciting place for you to grow and learn, and the tremendous BCHS staff will be assisting you during your journey. Please let us know if you have any questions. We are here to help and, once again, welcome to BC!
