Brookfield Central is proud to announce that twelve members of the senior class have earned the distinction of National Merit Semifinalist for the 2017-2018 school year.
This year's semifinalists for Brookfield Central are Ahmed Ali, Elizabeth Peterson, Sasha Semina, Gwen Gustafson, Eric Chen, Tinglin Shi, Jenny Cape, Reilly Olinger, Aparna Jayashankar, Gene Lee, Pranav Shashidhar, and Sophia Sun.
Recognition for this great achievement is based on a student's performance on the PSAT exam taken during their junior year. These students rank among the best in Wisconsin and the United States, with their exam scores in the top 16,000 out of the 1.6 million students who took the PSAT last year.
