Hello, and welcome to Brookfield Central High School’s website. I’m Don LaBonte, the school’s principal.
Our school community is widely known for excellence in academics, athletics and the arts. We strive to provide a personalized educational experience for all students both in and outside of the classroom, with the greater goal of preparing them for post-graduate success.
Brookfield Central’s academic programs are led by extremely talented and dedicated teachers. We are very proud of high student achievement results – we consistently earn excellent scores on standardized college and entrance exams; and we are recognized each year as one of Newsweek’s top American high schools.
Our athletic programs are extremely competitive and we frequently finish at or near the top of our conference, and our programs have earned a number of state championships over the years.
We are equally as proud of our arts program, with dramatic productions like To Kill a Mockingbird and West Side Story playing to sold-out houses, and numerous concerts throughout the year, students have the opportunity to explore and thrive in the performing arts.
Finally, our school’s success is supported by many engaged parents and greater community members, all who serve as a source of Brookfield Central Lancer pride.
