Principal's Welcome

Andy Farley

Welcome to Brookfield East High School!

I am Andy Farley, proud principal of my alma mater, Brookfield East, since 2013. Brookfield East is an amazing learning community defined by exceptional educators, brilliant and hard working student-leaders and an engaged community aligned in our school’s mission: Dedicated to Academic and Human Excellence. Our school’s collective commitment to academic and human excellence, for every student, prioritizes growth and learning to “be better tomorrow than we were today”.

I received my teaching degree from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2001 and my master’s in Educational Leadership from Marian University in 2006. Prior to my time as principal, I taught for 12 years at both Waukesha North High School and Brookfield East as a United States’ History, World History and Advanced Placement Psychology teacher. I also served as an Associate Principal at Menomonee Falls High School prior to BEHS. In 2023, I was honored to be named Wisconsin's Principal of the Year by AWSA, and by NASSP as the 2024 National Secondary Principal of the Year.

At Brookfield East, our vision is for every student to be ready, and experience success, in their selected post-secondary pathways. Our staff has collectively built core values we believe allows all students to thrive as they develop the necessary skills, knowledge and authentic sense of confidence for their success at Brookfield East and beyond.

Please let me know how we can be of best service to you and your family!
