Mission, Purpose & Events
The mission of Parent Network, your Elmbrook School's Community Connection, is to identify and address local parent concerns and student needs by: providing forums for education and information sharing; and connecting parents with professional resources, fellow parents and students, and educational programs and materials. The purpose of Parent Network is to sponsor educational/information workshops and networking events, and supply parenting educational materials to parents throughout the school year.

March 2013 Presentations
"Simple Truths: A Simple, Natural Approach to Discussing Sex with Your Children", is designed for parents of young children (pre-school to 5th grade) and will be offered at 10am and 7:00pm on Thursday, March 14th at Dixon Elementary. Please see the flyer for more details: Simple Truths 2013.
"Leap (Don't Limp) into the Next Sport Season!" is offered to all parents with students of any age in sports and activities. Kevin Walters, MD & Jeff Verhagen, PT will discuss injury prevention, concussion awareness, avoiding burnout, growth spurts, sports-related physical & emotional stress and pressure to perform. This program will be held on Thursday, March 21st from 7-9pm, in the Black Box Theater at Brookfield Central High School. Download for more information: Leap Into The Next Sport Season.
Hungry for Success?
The Elmbrook Parent Network and Leadership Council presents “Hungry for Success,” January 31, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., in the Brookfield East - Black Box Theater.
Team doctor for USA wrestling and USA judo for London 2012, Dr. Matt Frahm will present information on everyday nutrition for optimal performance. Admission is free.
