Is your child a bit dramatic? Do you have? a budding actor or actress on your hands? Looking to increase your child's confidence speaking in public?
If you’re looking for an outlet for your child’s enthusiasm and creativity, we have just the ticket! The Brookfield Elementary Players’ mission is to provide Brookfield Elementary students an experience in theater through our theater class for second and third graders and our production at the Wilson Center for fourth and fifth graders.
We are now inviting second and third graders to sign up for a Creative Dramatics class taught by Sarah Stettler, Director of the BE Players production of Al’s Diner and this year's production of The Lion King. Sarah will use some of the music from Lion King to build theater skills of students.
Teamwork, creative thinking and learning to speak in front of others will be skills developed in ?this energetic and fun class. We will use props, improvisation and creative movement to spark imaginations and lay the foundation for confident future actors. During a final showcase, parents will get to be part of a presentation highlighting the exciting things we have learned.
