Elmbrook Parent Leadership Council

The Elmbrook Parent Leadership Council (EPLC) is a district-wide organization whose purpose is to promote the exchange of ideas among parents in the Elmbrook School District. In addition, EPLC works to facilitate communication between, parents, teachers, administration, the Board of Education and other interested persons. The council also strives to provide leadership training to volunteers and to encourage volunteering at all levels within our schools. Each PTO president is a member of the council. Vice Presidents and PTO Executive board members are encouraged to join us. Each school may also designate one EPLC representative from each building.

Each year EPLC sponsors the Elmbrook Parent Leadership Fall Forum. This includes a president's breakfast, the state of the schools address by the Superintendent and a speaker. Officers and representatives also participate in a winter luncheon meeting. A Superintendent's Chat is hosted yearly and a School Board Candidates debate is sponsored prior to the elections. In the spring, a Spring Brunch is held which is attended by PTO officers, EPLC representatives, the Superintendent and other administrative team members as well as school board members.
