Mrs. Curley began as Burleigh's new principal on July 1, 2012. She was formerly a principal of a 4K-second grade school in the Trevor-Wilmot Consolidated Grade School District (near the Wisconsin-Illinois border between Kenosha and Lake Geneva), a position she successfully held for five years. Mrs. Curley was an assistant principal and reading specialist in Trevor-Wilmot the year prior to being promoted to principal. She also has 12 years of teaching experience.
