Notice to High School Students and Parents: Changes in the Honors Drop Down Practice.
The description in the 2006-2007 Course Offering Guide on page 62, Dropping Down from an Honors to a Regular Section has been changed. The Board of Education voted at the January 10, 2006 meeting to make the following change.
Only those students enrolled in an Honors class with a "C" grade or lower at the first mid-nine may drop to a regular section after meeting with specified faculty and completing requisite paperwork.
This practice went into effect beginning in the 2006-07 school year. |
