Next Project Plan Approved

The group formerly known as East 2000, East 2010 & Beyond is excited to announce the start of their next project plan and fundraising efforts to make needed improvements to the Soccer Stadium at East. 

Last fall, the School District approved a plan that includes improving the drainage on the northwest corner of the soccer field which has been a long-standing problem. Work will take place after the upcoming Girls spring soccer season and be completed before the Boys play in the fall.

    Additional projects are being planned for the coming years including the upgrade of the bleachers at the Soccer Stadium which have been in use since the school was built in 1961.

    Costs for the initial work on the field, which will include new drain tile, are being estimated at fifty-thousand dollars with final costs to be determined based on bids to be received in the next few months. This effort is being led by East 2010 committee member, Robb Lied of Lied's Nursery, whose son Drew is a Junior at East.

    SAVE THE DATE! / 11th ANNUAL SPARTAN GOLF OUTING & DINNER AUCTION

    East 2010 & Beyond is also excited to announce the date for the 11th Annual Spartan Golf Outing and Dinner Auction to be held Monday, June 15th 2009 at Silver Spring Country Club. This year's event will include a more unique dinner and evening event that you won't want to miss.

    In addition, an "End of Winter" Fundraiser will take place on March 14th in the evening at O'Donaghue's in Elm Grove to provide information on the next project plan and the Golf Outing.
