Student council meets most Fridays before school to plan such events as: Homecoming, Halloween dress-up, Kids' Night, Secret Santa, Senior Citizen Bingo, Morp, and Spring Bash. There are leadership opportunities such as attendance at School Board meetings, Northshore/Metro conferences (four times a year), and Wisconsin Association of School Council events. Students apply for student council in the spring to become members for the next year (those who will be sophomores, juniors, and seniors the next year); freshmen may join the week after homecoming. In early spring the Executive Board for the next year is elected from within the current council. All members in good standing are eligible to run. The Executive Board meets one additional day per week to plan meetings and coordinate events.
