Library
Attention all diligent, homework-doing students: We are sorry to say that the library will be closed eighth hour tomorrow, on Friday. So, if you have a study hall, plan on not having access to library resources that hour.
K'NEX
Attention K'NEX members! There will be a walk-through K'NEX meeting today, March 18th, at the beginning of fourth hour in Mrs. Hintz's room - room 0082. Please attend on your way to hour 4 today.
FCA
There will be an FCA meeting this Friday in room 17 at 7:30. Remember to wear your FCA t-shirt on Friday. If you have bought one yet, bring $10 to the meeting to get yours! Everyone's welcome!
Anime Club
Attention Anime Club members! Today's a regular Thursday, so there is an Anime Club meeting today! We'll be starting "5 Centimeters Per Second" today, so new members are very welcome to attend! Old members are encouraged to attend as well. The meeting is in Mr. Gillingham's NEW room, Room 1108 (Between Cafeteria and Old Gym). See you there!
Girl's Rugby
A new season of Girls rugby has started. Come play for the Brookfield bruisers. We practice Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at St. John on center street. from 4:30 to 6. we have an exciting season this year including the Mid-West Tournament. If you have any questions or need a ride to practice please contact Sara Morack, Talia Landwher, or Rachel Santuli.
Penny Wars
Attention Juniors and Seniors, Project Graduation and Post-Prom will battle it out this week in the cafeteria. The penny war is on!
Attendance Office
Here is a reminder from the attendance office: It is the sole responsibility of the student to check their attendance regularly in IC. When you have an unexcused absence, you have one week to clear it before it becomes permanent. Once again, after one week, unexcused absences cannot be cleared. And remember, one unexcused absence for the semester and you are ineligible for an exam exemption.
March Madness
Attention all students and staff:
In honor of March Madness, Thursday and Friday have been designated at college sweatshirt dress-up days. Wear your favorite college shirt regardless of if they are playing in the tourney or not. Once again, please wear your favorite college sweatshirt or t-shirt on Thursday and Friday.
Girls' Basketball
The girls' basketball team will be competing the WIAA sectionals this weekend at Brookfield Central. The first game is at 8:00 on Friday in our new gym. Come and cheer the team on as they try for their 3rd consecutive trip to State in Madison. After the team wins, they will play at 7:00 on Saturday. Help make it a true home court advantage and pack the gym! Friday night, 7:00 pm at Brookfield Central.
Junior Prom Fundraiser
The sponsors of the Junior Class Post prom Committee will be selling Marcus Movie tickets all next week during the lunch hours. Please bring money to purchase tickets. They are $6.00 tickets with a few restrictions or $8.00 tickets with no restrictions.
Bike Drive
Is your garage full of bikes that no one rides or don't work? If so, consider donating your used (working or not!) bikes to the Bike Drive at BCHS. Donated bikes will go to a company called Dream Bikes that will teach kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee how to fix them, then sell them for a very low price to kids who can't afford new bikes. Collection day is Monday, March 29th at BCHS from 3:15-5:30. See Katie Shannon for details.
Prom Fundraiser
Students attending prom: On sale now are Wrist Cuffs for the girls for $30 and Boutonniere's for the guys for $15. They will be available for presale through March 31st. Profit will be going to the Post Prom Committee! Lots of colors and choices to choose from and the best part; orders will be delivered to school for pick up on Friday April 16th. See samples during all lunches starting Monday March 22nd – Friday March 26th! Your only job is to contact Jess Fleur Fun with your final color and floral selection once your order form is complete! Prom
Attention Juniors Prom is April 17th and tickets will go on sale during the lunch hours beginning March 22 thru the 26th. They are $150 a couple or $75 per person and they include Prom, dinner and Post-prom. When you purchase your tickets, please choose your dinner entree and t-shirt size. There is more information about Prom on the school website.
Post Prom Committee
The Post Prom Committee would like to request Strands of white Christmas lights, needing 100 in total, and greenery of all sizes, specifically large trees or plants and white or colored flood lights. Photo Club
The Fine Arts Extravaganza is coming up, and photo club is holding their annual photography contest. Anyone can submit up to three entries, which must be matted and turned in to Mr. Juran in the Mac lab by Friday, march 26th. There will be cash prizes for the winners, and everyone is eligible to enter!
Girl's Softball
Attention all girl's interested in trying out for softball. The first day of tryouts start Monday March 22nd from 5:30-7:30.Please have green clearance cards ready to give to Coach Mooney-Lazu.No green clearance card, no tryout allowed.
Career Center
