Academic Standards
Elmbrook Schools help all students, regardless of background or ability, achieve high learning standards. High academic standards describe what students are expected to know and be able to do across the curriculum. Standards serve as a common target for students, staff, and parents to help focus and sustain efforts.
- Approximately 82 percent of district graduates enter higher education. Strong, varied programs are available for non-college bound students.
- A long-range, comprehensive Technology Plan identifies the planned expansion of technology as a teaching tool in the K-12 curriculum. Computers are clustered for classroom use as well as computer lab settings with a district wide ratio of four students per computer.
- Advanced Placement & Honors courses are offered in English, math/computer science, social studies, science, and art. Modified courses are offered for students who require a significant change in the learning expectations for the course.
