Welcome to Brookfield East Athletics.
This area is designed to provide the information you will need to register for athletic participation at Brookfield East. All athletes are required to have the required information and signatures on file prior to participating in any capacity. This includes practices, scrimmages, and competition. You can also visit the individual sport pages to get contact information for the coaching staff. Please call the athletic office with any additional questions as they arise.

In order to begin participation student-athletes must check in at the athletic office to assure that each of the following items on file.

If all items are on file the athlete will receive a signed participation card in the office that they must show their respective coach on the first day of practice. Students without the card will not be allowed to participate in practices or tryouts.
Medical Clearance
Prior to participating in any tryout, practice, or event your student must have a current physical signed by a doctor and guardian on file in our office. The date on this physical must be on or before 4/1/07. You can call the athletic office at Brookfield East if you need to check on the status of medical clearance for your son or daughter. The required form can be downloaded below or picked up in the main office or the athletic office at Brookfield East.
Students with a current physical on file can participate by submitting the alternate year card. This is also available to downlaod below. Hard copies are available at Brookfield East.

Eligibility
All athletes must meet the eligibility requirements established by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association in order to compete for Brookfield East. Additionally athletes and parents are required to sign a form indicating their understanding and compliance with the rules of eligibility established by the WIAA. Please review the attached Eligibility form to fully understand those requirements.

Activity Code
It is a privilege to represent the Spartans in competition. All student athletes are required to sign the Elmbrook Activity Code prior to participating with our programs. A hard copy of the District Activity Code can be picked up at Brookfield East or downloaded below. Please review the code with your students and be sure all the expectations and consequences are clearly understood. The contract with student and guardian signatures must be on file at Brookfield East prior to participating with our programs. Please call with any questions.

Activity Fee
All athletes must pay the district required activity fee each year before participating in competition for Brookfield East. That fee is $60.00 for each athletic program with a maximum of two fees paid. Athletes participating in a third or fourth program do not pay those additional fees.
