WINTER 2008
MANY THANKS for the fresh and healthy snacks you send to us! We LOVE trying new things... our classroom is the perfect place for taste experiments!! Our newest favorite: POMEGRANATES! We also enjoy pears, apples, clementines, and of course, bananas! Fruit = Good health all winter!
-
As you know, we are continuing to work on great kindergarten writing. When your child writes at home, remind him/her to start letters at the TOP. Help your child find reasons to write: cards, notes, lists, letters, titles and captions on drawings, signs for his/her bedroom, etc.
-
NEW! Each day our writing workshop has its own focus! Ask your child about Memory Mondays, Try-It Tuesdays, Wondering Wednesdays, Thinking Thursdays, and Fix-It Fridays.
-
We hope you and your kindergartner are having fun playing math games with your 0-30 number cards! Feel free to invent new games, and send us your new ideas to pass along.
