Design is the foundation for more advanced art.  Everything in our environment that is made by humans, employs elements and principles of design.  Instruction in Design is a natural part of learning to communicate ideas.  Studnets will develop skills through craetive problem solving in both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional visual media that may include drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, weaving, printmaking and technology.
