Comments: Brain teasers are both entertaining and mentally challenging. Each Wednesday evening a new problem will be provided at three different grade ranges (3-7+). Hints are also given to help the students solve the problem. May also be printed.

Comments: On-line problem solving for all ages. Printable pages for math center use.

Comments:This site has nine online activities on airplane capacity, t ime zones, flight planning and more. In cooperation with NASA.
Problem of the Week/ Brain Teasers
Comments: This site contains challenging math problems that students can solve. It gives hints, as well as the solution. The problems could serve as a daily or weekly problem solving challenge.
Terry the Taxi Driver
Comments: Students help Terry the New York Taxi Driver with his math problems. Students can use an "on-line" calculator to do the arithmetic. Reminders to estimate or round are given. Wrong answers are given hints. Links to other types of puzzles and games.
