Comments:  Students use pattern blocks to explore fractional values, equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting fractions, ordering fractions and identifying geometric figures and their properties. Activities are exploratory; algorithms are not used.

Stanley Park Chase
Comments:  Dexter, the dog, asks kids to solve a multiplication fact by clicking on a number. Each new problem shows a different photo and Dexter tells about it. This would be a motivating site for students trying to memorize their multiplication facts.
