Gifted & Talented Parent Advisory Board
The Parent Advisory Board advocates for the needs of Gifted and Talented students and offers a variety of support functions to the parent community and the staff at each school. If you are interested in information about the G/T Parent Advisory Board and/or their meeting schedule, please contact the PAB Chair, Laura Schmidt, at 262-785-6659 or by email at laura.schmidt@email.com. The Parent Advisory Board for Gifted and Talented Elmbrook students (G/T PAB) has representatives identified for each of the Elmbrook elementary, middle and high schools. Your Brookfield Elementary rep is Margie Heyworth. These "School Reps" serve as a communication link about G/T identification, programming, and other issues between parents, schools, and the district for advocacy, information distribution, and feedback. The PAB also is planning to host parent meetings at various times throughout the school year on G/T and related issues. Please feel free to give them a call if you have questions.
