Early Release Information for 2009/2010

  Next year our Early Release Thursday schedule will change.  There will be 16 Thursdays throughout the year in which all students will be released early:

September 10 & 24

October 8 & 22

December 10

January 14 & 28

February 11 & 25

March 11 & 25

April 15

May 13 & 27

June 3 

Students will eat lunch at school and then board buses at 1:29p.m. 

Now is the time to look at your schedules and make arrangements for those Early Release afternoons.  At Burleigh we have an on-site After School Program run by the YMCA.  The YMCA School Age Department will be providing care on the newly adjusted Early Release Days from 1:29 – 6:00pm. 

For children regularly scheduled for the YMCA After School program, there will be no additional charge for the Early Release Days.  For children not regularly scheduled for the YMCA After School program, there will be a $24/per day charge.

Forms to register for the Early Release Days as well as any School's Out Days will be available through the YMCA Child Care Billing Office or at Burleigh's YMCA site, which is in Burleigh's small gym.  For more information or to request a form, please contact the YMCA at 414-357-1910.

Burleigh also has bus service to five (5) day care providers in our attendance area.  The list below will help you with planning for next year's Early Release Thursdays.
