Afternoon Storms Cause Slight School Bus Delays

     A limited number of afternoon bus routes home were delayed by less than fifteen minutes on Friday, June 6, 2008.

     The brief delays were because of precautions taken at or near school dismissal time, given severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings that had been issued by the National Weather Service.

Burleigh Elementary: Routes 2 and 8

Brookfield Elementary: Route 21

Dixon Elementary: Routes 54 and 55

Hillside Elementary: Routes 41, 43, 45 and 46

Tonawanda Elementary: Route 36

Swanson Elementary: Routes 63, 64, 66, 68 and 70.
