Winter Weather Playground Procedures
- If you don't have boots, you will stand at the wall unless the blacktop is completely dry and free of snow.
- If you don't have snow pants, but you have on boots, you can play on the blacktop. (The adult outside can make a ruling on playing on wood chips if there is no snow in that area.)
- If you have on snow pants and boots, you can play anywhere on the playground.
- There is NO throwing snow or ice or putting it on other people (down jackets, in faces, etc.)
- At the discretion of the playground supervisor, you can slide down the snow-covered hill on your BOTTOM, feet first. There is no running and rolling down the hills!
- Snow forts and Snowmen only "live" for one recess.
- You can only add to a snow structure or snowman, you cannot wreck or destroy one.
