EEF Lancer-Spartan Scholarships

The Foundation supports the District's value on continuing education by sustaining and enhancing its Scholarship Program.  Today, approximately 1 out of every 40 of our graduating seniors receives an EEF administered scholarship donated by area businesses and individuals wishing to recognize them for their accomplishments in our District.  The Foundation's scholarship committee matches recipients to the specific criteria of its donors.  To date, the Foundation has administered over $930,000 in merit and need-based scholarships to students planning to attend either a University or Technical School.

Scholarship Publicity
Publicizing the Lancer-Spartan scholarship program is a critical component of raising the funds required to sustain the scholarship program.  Consequently, the Foundation asks all Lancer-Spartan scholarship recipients to make themselves available for press photos.  In addition, award recipients will be invited to represent the Foundation in the Memorial Day parade in Elm Grove and the July 4th parade in Brookfield.  Lastly, PLEASE followup with both the Foundation in addition to the donor of your scholarship (if applicable) to keep us posted of your progress at school.  Your followup does make a difference in our ability to sustain the scholarship program!

Scholarship Donors

Most Lancer Spartan scholarships are presented in the name of community members, businesses and organizations who have sponsored the $1500 scholarships in full.  Please refer to the donor page to identify those businesses who have pledged support for 1 or more scholarships for this year's gradating class.

The Foundation makes it easy for your organization to sponsor a scholarship. You supply the donor criteria, we select the recipient on your behalf.  Your organization will be recognized at each school's award night and at graduation, as well as recognition with pictures of the recipients in area newspapers. Additional recognition is provided at our community events each year.  Named scholarships must be fully funded at $1500 per scholarship; however, a donation to the scholarship fund may be made in any amount.

Honorary/Memorial Scholarship Funds

The Foundation is also able to accomodate the creation of honorary/memorial scholarship funds.  Certain funds provide the opportunity for recognition throughout Waukesha County as a result of the EEF's relationship with the Waukesha County Community Foundation.  Please contct the Foundation for more information at www.elmbrookeducationfoundation.com.

Making a donation to the Lancer Spartan scholarship fund is truly an investment in the future of our community and a wonderful opportunity to honor your organization or an individual!
