Board The Board of Education shall determine the extent of all new construction based upon reports and recommendations from and through the Superintendent.
New construction is defined to include alterations, replacement or redesign of all building items to the extent that they shall be maintained in the condition of their original construction or as redesigned. It is further defined to include needed alterations to suit new purposes.
The Board retains the rights to all initial construction decisions. These construction decisions are of such serious consequence that a decision ought not be rendered without specific recommendations by appropriate District administrators and construction specialists.
