President Tom Gehl called the meeting to order at 9:10 p.m. Public notice of the meeting was provided in accordance with Chapter 19.85 Wis. Stats. Motion by Bob Ziegler to approve the November 8, 2011 agenda. The motion was seconded by Glen Allgaier and carried on a voice vote.
Meg Wartman presented/reviewed timeline for the superintendent search and presented detail on focus groups and the November 15 focus group schedule. Board members were asked to assist with invitations to focus group sessions and community forums and/or access the web survey. Tom Gehl will invite key communicators. Carol Chetney will invite others on the focus group listing. A work session was scheduled to follow the regular November 22 Board meeting to finalize the superintendent profile.
Meg Wartman will request expanded data from Ray & Associates concerning recent hires to include Board parameter, final salary offer, and final compensation. Board members were asked to keep evenings during the week of February 6, 2012 open for candidate interviews.
Motion by Bob Ziegler to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Glen Allgaier and carried on a voice vote. The meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
