Congratulations to our Elmbrook Education Foundation Grant Award Recipients!
The Elmbrook Education Foundation (formerly known as the Lancer-Spartan Scholarship Fund) was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Elmbrook School District high school graduates.
In 1999, the Foundation's mission expanded to include innovative teacher grants for projects that would benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools.
Since inception, the EEF has awarded over $1,350,000 in scholarships and $450,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the District's budget.
On Monday, May 3, Elmbrook Schools held the 6th Annual Engaged in Excellence Awards Red Carpet Gala at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, sponsored by the Elmbrook Education Foundation. The event celebrated fifty-six individual and three team finalists, alumni, 2020-21 retirees, and community partner honorees. The event was held in-person with safety protocols for finalists and honorees, and was simultaneously live-streamed for the public.
The evening was a mix of sincerity, comedy, and appreciation, and included an emotional tribute to Elmbrook staff for making the school year possible, roving interviews, and more!
The 6th Annual Circle of Friends, sponsored by Northwestern Mutual and the Schlifske Family Foundations, is our annual opportunity to showcase the talents of our Elmbrook students while allowing the community to interact with our renowned Innovation Stations and enjoy live student musical performances.
