Swanson School Closed on Tuesday, March 16th 

Swanson School will be closed all day Tuesday, March 16. This closure includes all after school and evening activities. The PTO is cancelled and rescheduled for Tuesday, March 30th.

 

The reason for the closure is the probability that the school and area will be without water due to emergency piping and valve repairs conducted by the City of Brookfield Water Department.

 

This announcement is made on Monday, March 15 to provide lead time for parents making alternative arrangements for children. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

A Message from the Superintendent

Greetings from Elmbrook Schools!

As we carry out our mission – to educate and inspire every student to think, to learn, and to succeed – we reflect on many recent accomplishments of the district.  We invite you to read more about these accomplishments in our 2008-09 Annual Report, which highlights our "Community of Excellence and Opportunity." 

We recently received our first Wisconsin Forward Award, a testament of quality processes involved in delivering a high-quality, personalized education to each student.  This outstanding honor demonstrates our district-wide commitment to continuous improvement, and recognizes the outstanding work and performance of the entire Elmbrook Schools community.

We are currently in the process of exciting renovations at our two high schools as well as innovative technology initiatives. We also continue to work with the community in aligning our strategic plan goals and objectives with a five-year financial plan for the district.
