District Policy - Media Access to Students
Media are allowed limited access to students in non-common areas of the school campus during regular school hours to interview, photograph, and videotape for informational purposes, if the educational process is not disrupted. Media must contact an administrator to gain access inside the school. In some situations, media will be requested to report from a common area designated by the school to avoid disruption.
Conduct which disrupts the educational activities of a school includes but is not limited to entrance into a classroom without consent of either the principal/designee or teacher, prevention or attempted prevention of a student from attending classes or other school activities which the student is required or wishes to attend, or visual or audible disruption that hinders or prevents instruction or compromises student safety.
