Elmbrook Celebrates Excellence Across District and Community
Several Golden Apple Winners

The Second Annual Engaged in Excellence Awards Red Carpet Gala took place Monday, May 22 at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center! In addition to honoring retirees and staff achieving years of service milestones, over 55 teams and individuals were celebrated as finalists in 13 award different award categories. All award presenters were winners in their own right throughout the 2016-17 school year, from Wisconsin Mathematics League and State Swimming Champions to Herb Kohl Award recipients, a Presidential Scholar and more!

Hosted by Elmbrook's Chief Information Officer, Chris Thompson, the show parodied the Academy Awards- echoing the popular quips, follies and skits, and even featuring a live opening number with Elmbrook's Senior Leadership team and students from the Brookfield East choir! The gala was sponsored by the Elmbrook Education Foundation, GO Riteway, Baird, Associated Bank, Gordon Flesch, and Buelow Vetter.

Elmbrook Schools is grateful to all finalists, student presenters, sponsors, and the 500 attendees for their commitment to excellence in our community.
