Elmbrook Educators Shine at WEMTA

On Tuesday, March 21, educators from around the state gathered to attend the 2017 Wisconsin Educator Media Technology Association (WEMTA) Conference.

On Tuesday, March 21, educators from around the state gathered to attend the 2017 Wisconsin Educator Media Technology Association (WEMTA) Conference. The WEMTA Conference focuses on the topics of school library media, instructional technology, and the technological innovations that districts are pursuing to benefit students.

"An amazing team can do great work on behalf of students," stated Kay Benning, Elmbrook's District Library Coordinator. "I am very grateful for the time and energy invested in sharing Elmbrook's library story." Three different Elmbrook presentations were featured at the conference including:

  • The Library is Open - 24/7 eBook Access for All, presented by Kay Benning, Dan Gebauer, Chris Thompson
  • Facebrook - Family and Community Engagement Book Club, presented by Kay Benning, Beth DeGuire, Judy Scaro
  • Author Access for All, presented by Norm Andrews, Kay Benning, Chris Thompson
