Candidates for the School District of Elmbrook Board of Education seats up for election in April will participate in a candidate forum on Thursday, March 6 at 6:00 p.m., at the Elmbrook Schools Central Administrative Office, 13780 Hope Street, Brookfield. The forum will be sponsored by the Elmbrook Parent Network and Leadership Council (EPNLC).
Five individuals have declared candidacy for the April 1, 2014 election. Candidates for the Area I seat are Richard Brunner (Incumbent) and Zackary Vrana. Candidates for the Area III Seat are Tom Gehl (Incumbent) and Jeffrey J. Liotta. Kathryn Wilson, the incumbent for the At-Large seat is running unopposed. Each Board member represents the entire school district; therefore residents should select one candidate for each seat.
During the forum each candidate will present opening and closing comments, answers to predetermined questions from a moderator, and answers to questions from the audience. Elmbrook residents interested in submitting questions may send them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The forum will be taped, posted to the district’s website, and broadcast on Time Warner Cable channels 13 and 96 in Brookfield and Elm Grove.
