Wisconsin Agenda 2017

​On Monday, October 22nd we are anticipating the public release of School Report Cards by the State’s Department of Public Instruction. School Effectiveness, as measured and reported by the Report Cards, is one element of State Superintendent Tony Evers’ Wisconsin Agenda 2017. Other key aspects of this Agenda include:   

Standards & Instruction
Common Core Standards fully implemented by 2014-2015   

Assessments and Data Systems
Smarter Balanced Assessment replaces the WKCE in 2014
State Student Information System beginning in 2013   

School & Educator Effectiveness
School Report Cards in October 2012
Educator (Administrator & Teacher) Effectiveness in 2013   

School Finance Reform
Establish sustainability in state funding by 2017
