The Brookfield Central Forensic team continues their winning ways as they bring home the 2ND PLACE TROPHY from Madison West high school this past Saturday (3/17). Next Saturday's meet will be the Catholic Forensic League qualifiers at Brookfield East for the opportunity to compete in June in Washington DC. The Spartan Invitational will also be a concurrent tournament for many of our team's competitors. Wish them luck!

The project includes two in-school workshops and an all day immersion/performance opportunity on April 14. Students interested in social justice, social studies and local history are encouraged to sign up.
The Key Club is hosting a Respite Day here at BC next Saturday, March 24. We need a lot of volunteers to play games and do crafts with children with special needs. If you are willing to help out during the day next Saturday, please contact Sabrina Huang (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Mr. Blaha. The time is from 8:00 - 2:00, but if you can only help for half of the day, we can make that work.
Sophomores and Juniors: We are in the process of creating next year's master schedule and we have made an adjustment to Global Business. Next year Global Business will be in one block instead of two. The Brookfield Central High School Summer Strength, Speed and Conditioning Program is in its 5th Year. During the summer of 2017, on a daily basis an average of 350 BC student-athletes representing every sport attended the workouts. 2018-2019 Brookfield Central Lancerettes pre-tryout clinic will be on March 27th and April 4th from 4:30 - 6:00 in the BC Cafeteria. Official tryouts will be held on April 16th - 18th from 4:30 - 6:00 in the BC Auxiliary Gym.
On Friday, March 23rd we are excited to be having once again, "Bring Your Community to School Day," a day for each of you to see 2 SPEAKERS share their professions and career paths! We have OVER 40 speakers already committed to coming to BC that morning, and they will be speaking to you during an extended Lancer Block. You will need to sign up on the classroom doors to ensure yourself a seat at your top 2 speakers. The list of speakers and sign-ups will be coming soon...stay tuned!
