BC! 2022-2023 Significantly Exceeding Expectations

Congratulations to the entire Brookfield Central Community for achieving 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and Significantly Exceeding Expectations ratings on our 2022-2023 Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) School Report Card.  Our score of 89.2 is the highest score of any high school in Waukesha County.  Click here to view our full report card and here to see how our academic achievement (School Report Card and ACT) compares with the 15 public high schools in the county.

As part of the state accountability system, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) produces report cards for every publicly funded school and district in Wisconsin.  The following outlines the priority areas of the school report card:

  • Achievement measures the level of knowledge and skills among students in the school, compared to state and national standards.
  • Growth describes how much student knowledge of English language arts and mathematics in the school changes from year to year.
  • Target Group Outcomes demonstrates outcomes for students with the lowest test scores in their school - the Target Group.  Outcomes are displayed for achievement, growth, chronic absenteeism, and attendance or graduation rate.
  • On-Track to Graduation indicates the success of students in the school in achieving educational milestones that predict postsecondary success.

Our success at BC is a credit to our amazing students, their families and our devoted educators and staff at Swanson Elementary, Dixon Elementary, Brookfield Elementary, Wisconsin Hills Middle School, and here at Brookfield Central High School.  It is a true BC Community Celebration!
