This year in Elmbrook, Brookfield Central High School seniors Niyati Hansaria, Manasvi Paturu, Natalie Winn, and Brookfield East senior Alena Wadzinske were awarded Excellence Scholarships on behalf of the foundation for their academic leadership. Excellence Scholarship recipients have demonstrated excellence in the academic arena and a high motivation to achieve, have displayed a broad range of activity and leadership outside the academic setting, and have shown strong promise for succeeding in college and beyond.

“The Kohl Foundation’s dedication to Wisconsin students and faculty is nothing short of exceptional,” said Superintendent Mark Hansen. “Congratulations to Niyati, Manasvi, Natalie, and Alena on this great recognition.”

The selection committee for the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Scholarship and Fellowship Program has announced recipients of the 2021 Herb Kohl Foundation awards for students, teachers and principals. The students are among 200 graduating seniors that will receive a $10,000 scholarship from the Foundation.
