The 61st Annual Distinguished Young Women (DYW) of Wisconsin State Finals Scholarship Program (formerly Junior Miss) was held Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center. Brookfield Central senior, Amy Keane, was named Distinguished Young Woman of Wisconsin. Keane earned a total of $1550 in cash scholarships, as well as qualifying for full tuition and room and board scholarships to several participating colleges. She is the second Elmbrook student in a row to be named Wisconsin's DYW, following Brookfield East's Harriet Huang, who was named in 2018.

Keane will represent Wisconsin at the Distinguished Young Women of America National Finals in Mobile, Alabama in June 2019 where she will compete for scholarships totaling over $35K.
