Five Elmbrook students have been recognized for their achievements in technology by the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) as they competed for the 2018 NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC).

The organization recognizes high school women for their computing-related achievements and interests as part of an effort to encourage more young women to choose careers in technology.

Brookfield Central Senior, Alexandra Semina, received a National Level Honorable Mention and is a NCWIT-WI Affiliate Winner. BCHS Senior, Tejasvi Paturu, and BCHS Sophomore, Anja Logan, were named NCWIT-WI Affiliate Winners for their efforts in computing. Brookfield East Junior, Anouska Siva, and BCHS Senior, Mariam Khan, received NCWIT-WI Affiliate Honorable Mentions for their work.

The students will be honored at an award ceremony held at Alverno College on Sunday, April 22nd. Congratulations on your amazing achievements!
