Principal's Welcome

Andrew Farley

Hello, I’m Andy Farley and I’ve been the proud principal of my alma mater, Brookfield East, since 2013. We believe our staff is a collection of "warm demanders" - each of our teachers and staff members will develop a strong, positive relationship with each of their students. That relationship will allow each student grow to their best self and achieve academic and human excellence!

I received my teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in 2001 and continued on to earn my administrative degree from Marian University in 2006.

Prior to my time as principal of BEHS, I served as a teacher for 11 years in the fields of U.S./World History, Psychology, and AP Psychology at both Waukesha North and Brookfield East. I also served as an administrator at Menomonee Falls High School prior to East.

I love being able to watch our students grow over their 4 year journey at BE. We firmly believe that our students will leave our halls having developed their skills, talents, and dispositions to change the world! One of our core values is the belief that our school's culture is our strength. Within that core value, all students will find a home and a support system within Brookfield East. We firmly believe that we can be the bridge between where our students want to be in their next journey!

I am fortunate to present yearly at the AWSA (Association of Wisconsin School Administrators) Aspiring Administrators Conference, and was recognized as a 2016 Engaged In Excellence Award Nominee for ‘Excellence in Leadership’. Outside of school, my family is my number one priority, and I love spending time with my wife and three children! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, coaching my children’s sporting events, and remaining a lifelong learner of History.

Please take a look around our website for much more information, and plan to come in for a school tour soon. We'd be happy to show you all we have to offer, and we hope you become a Brookfield East Spartan soon.
