Announcements

Brookfield East High School is dedicated to academic and human excellence. Libraries have the potential to serve as the HUB to academic and human excellence by accelerating learning, engagement, collaboration, and innovation through access to spaces, resources, technology and information. We are excited to announce that Brookfield East's current library, the Library Media Center (LMC) will be renovated this summer to be a new, transformational learning HUB for all students and staff, to be known as: "The Learning Commons at Brookfield East". As part of the project, BE will launch a $20,000 fundraising campaign to support the overall cost of the renovation project.

It’s way more than building robots. FIRST Tech Challenge teams: design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.

Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.

The robot can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Teams design and build robots, raise funds, design, and market their team brand, and do community outreach to earn specific awards. Participants are eligible to apply for $80M+ in college scholarships.

Thank you for supporting our future with your donation to one or all of our FTC Teams: Hazmat, WISER, Rising Rhinobots, or GEarheads.
