Brookfield East placed 3rd for small teams at the Marquette Forensics tournament which hosted 384 competitors from 28 schools. Four of our seven competitors broke to the power round including: Bera Demirbilek in Extemp, Philip Klinker in poetry, Diana Carp in Storytelling and Simrah Ahmed in Radio. Congrats to Simrah Ahmed who received a trophy for her 3rd place finish in the Radio category. Also competing this weekend were Mark Browne, Alex Maier and Mary Ellen Saxon. Great first meet of the season everyone.
