Twelve Brookfield East Forensics students journeyed to UW-Whitewater over Spring Break to compete in the Wisconsin Forensics Coaches' Association State Tournament. The team received several honors, and juniors Namitha Alexander and Arjun Shreekumar were crowned Duo Interp Champions.

Seven Spartans represented East in the Student Congress competition, with juniors Anath Bhat, Bera Demirbilek and Arjun Shreekumar advancing to the top 12 and Arjun placing second overall.

In addition, Arjun Shreekumar and senior Simran Khunger were voted Best Presiding Officer for their respective chambers.
