On Saturday, June 9, the Brookfield East Boys Tennis team finished their 2018 season as Division 1 State Runner-Up!

Individual state qualifiers included Colin Knutson and Andrew Knutson for Singles, and

Alex Fisher, Cole Johnstone, Joey Heuler, and Nick Fisher for Doubles. The team also included: John Desmond, Jake Harder, Simon Johnstone, Andre Kalfayan, Christopher Knutson, Jonathan Knutson, Aaron Liu, and Michael Stanaszak.

The semifinals saw the Spartans advance with a 4-3 win over Arrowhead. In the finals, the boys fought a tough battle against Marquette ending with a 6-1 loss.
